FAI Aviation Group concludes successful six-year partnership with McLaren Racing
FAI Aviation Group, one of the world’s leading providers of mission-critical aviation services, today announced the conclusion of its successful six-year partnership with McLaren Racing. The collaboration formally ended on December 31, 2025, marking the close of what has been an incredible journey for FAI, serving as McLaren Racing’s official aviation partner, supporting the team and its global schedule.
The partnership coincided with a strong period for McLaren Racing, culminating in the ultimate achievement – the team securing both the Constructors’ Championship and Drivers’ Championship titles at the close of the 2025 Formula 1 season.
Siegfried Axtmann, Group Chairman and Founder of FAI Aviation Group, commented:
“After six incredible years, as our journey with McLaren draws to a close, we could not be prouder to have been part of such an unforgettable journey. From the very first step, we formed a strong bond, working together side by side, towards success. It has been a privilege to support McLaren Racing, and I would personally like to thank the team for their trust in us. As they prepare for the next season on the track, we wish them every success. At FAI, we look ahead to a new chapter, carrying forward the spirit of excellence we built together.“
FAI supported McLaren Racing as its official aviation partner for six race seasons covering more than 70 Grand Prix events worldwide. Over the course of the partnership, FAI completed more than 250 flight legs for the team, flying approximately 3,000 passengers. Flights spanned Europe and long haul destinations including the USA, Canada, Mexico and Japan with the support of its partner airlines.
