# FAI Aviation Group named as ‘Employer of the Future’

FAI Aviation Group, Germany’s leading global provider of mission-critical aviation services, has been named as a 2023 ‘Employer of the Future’ by the German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalisation (DIND).

FAI was praised for its entrepreneurial, progressive work – in innovation; investing in and maximising the use of technology and sustainable practices.

DIND, whose patron is Brigitte Zypries, former Federal Minister of Economics, is an advocate for small and medium-sized businesses in Germany. Through this award, SME’s who have stood out as being exceptional employers are celebrated.

Siegfried Axtmann, founder and Chairman of FAI Aviation Group, commented. _“We are pleased to accept this coveted award which recognises our success in fostering a supportive and engaging workplace for our employees. I would like to dedicate this award to our excellent 300-strong workforce who every day go the extra mile to help make our 36 year old company a success. As we currently face a shortage of skilled workers in Germany, I hope this will help us to attract future talented individuals.“_

Following the opening of its new MRO facility at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) in February, FAI widened its workforce earlier this year, adding 10 team members including engineers and mechanics.
