Entry-level/skill development and training opportunities for non-certified technical staff with skilled worker training.

Basic requirements

  • Skilled worker training (automotive / industrial mechanic, electrician, mechatronics)

  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken

  • Driving license class B

  • Unrestricted passport

  • Certificate of good conduct

Aircraft maintenance licence categories at FAI

  • CAT A (A1): Issuance of Certificates of Release to Service after simple line maintenance work and after correction of simple defects.
  • CAT B1 (B1.1): Issue of Certificates of Release to Service after maintenance work on the aircraft structure, engines and mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.

  • CAT B2: Issue of certificates of release to service following maintenance work on avionics and electrical systems.
  • CAT C: Issue of certificates of release to service following maintenance work on aircraft in their entirety, including all systems.
